Does the team need new lambos?

Transparency is important. Team members who work full-time for the Uplift are compensated. It is a reasonable amount to cover cost of living and hardware / software. No fancy crypto-lifestyle funding here.
The Uplift team members will also fund most of the substantial amount that is needed for the project buyout from the mother company out of their own pockets. Because of that, the Uplift project still needs to raise funds to help to secure the transition phase into the DAO.

The support funds will be used to:

Ensure the set-up of the DAO and on-ramping phase can be done quickly and in the most efficient way to have the strong foundation the Uplift needs to become one of the significant Metaverse player in the crypto space.

Challenges of the transition

The first priority is to keep the Uplift running during the transition phase, when it comes to infrastructure and team. We also need to make sure that the on ramping phase, as well as the legal setup, are flawless to roll out the DAO Metaverse.

What does this vision look?

We spent the last few months developing an exiting vision for the future of the Uplift Metaverse. Since giving power to the community also means the community will have a big part in the decisions about the direction of this project, we have no roadmap that is set in stone, just many building blocks we will present to the DAO. However, there are some important short and midterm milestones that will play an important role and are already. We will reveal this roadmap to the community within this week.
