Technology Supported

The Uplift World will only give support to players that are using the Official Minecraft Java client for MAC or PC.  If you are using a Mobile Emulator, we will not support it due to the variations of launchers available and it not being an official build.

Player Conduct

All players have the right to be spoken to or addressed in a respectful manner. Players are all users that play on the theUplift.World Network.

The Uplift World Server is a fun and safe place for players to communicate and interact with each other respectfully due to our commitment to gratitude. We provide our players with a chat environment to talk to other players, discover new friends, and have fun.

Our players must cooperate and compete in a positive environment, NEVER in a way that disrespects or abuses other players. In short: treat others the way you would like to be treated.

IMMUTABLE Rules of Player Conduct

The Uplift World has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy and these are the rules for that policy.  Violation of these rules results in an immediate ban from the server. All bans can be appealed, but please understand the process for this is by submitting a support ticket that gets dealt with about once per week, not immediately.

  • Zero Discrimination – negative comments related to skin color, gender, mental or physical health conditions, or other personal qualities are an absolute no no.
  • Overuse of bad language.  We all make mistakes and occasionally curse, but if curse words are your primary form of communication, then theUplift.World server is not the world for you.
  • Insulting other players in any way (trolling, name calling, etc.).  If you want to cut up with your friends, start a discord or telegram channel that you can be buddies in.  The rest of us neither want to or need to see it.
  • Encouraging violence or hatred towards other players.  ZERO tolerance and where appropriate, we will cooperate with authorities FULLY.
  • Falsifying information about other players.
  • DOXXING/Sharing another player’s personal information without their consent ZERO TOLERANCE.
  • Spamming – pasting the same or similar messages over and over again.  If you want someone to know something about you or your plot of land, put it ON the plot of land you own.  You can say once or twice “Hey come here and (activity here)” but if you are dominating the chats with it, say hello to the ban hammer.
  • Discussion of inappropriate topics in public chat areas on the server.  No free passes on this one as certain things breach the TOS of the platform we are using.  We see you talking about bad stuff, banned!
  • Encouraging cheating.  Play fair or you don’t play at all.
  • Exploiting.  We know bugs exist. If you exploit them continually for profit or malicious intent, ban hammer immediately!
  • Autoclick / Macros.  Either you play yourself or you don’t play at all.
  • Griefing (Team or individual).  Again, ZERO TOLERANCE.  You grief, you’re gone!
  • Circumvent our systems by enabling disallowed mods.  Need I say more?

Allowed Artistic Content

What does Allowed Artistic Content mean?

This means that players can express themselves with interactive parts of the server. However, players also have the right to not be exposed to certain content.  Violation of this  falls under the ZERO TOLERANCE policy. Please refer to the list below for content that should be reported to staff:

Racist, vulgar, violence-inducing, or sexual imagery that might offend others or go against Minecraft PG-13 ratings in the form of art, drawings, building designs, item names, pet names, housing and other building designs, skins and capes, messages in game/chat/social channels, usernames, guild names and tags should all be considered inappropriate.

Cheating and Exploiting

Players have the right to play in an environment which is fair and free of cheating and exploiting, as this actually damages the positive experiences others may have.

We disallow all hacks, cheats, macros, etc.

Any bug on the server or within Minecraft that is used to gain an in-game advantage over other players is seen as unfair gameplay and is not allowed. This is to ensure that bugs that do arise are not used in an abusive manner to gain an unfair advantage in games.

This means no matter where they are on the server, regardless of the reason, game modifications, cheats, or exploits that give an unfair advantage to gameplay are strictly prohibited.

Common Prohibited Cheats & Exploits

This is not a complete list, but this is some of the ones that are more prevalent.

X-Ray vision, Item Duplication by chest exploit, Rail Duplication Exploit, Carpet Duplication Exploit, Autominers,

Categories of Allowed Modifications:

Aesthetic modifications (e.g. shaders)

Brightness and gamma adjustment mods All modifications are used at your own risk.  If a mod messes with your system, it’s not the fault of The Uplift World.

In Game Rules of The Uplift World

When it comes to The Uplift World, our most rule is Metaverse First!  The whole point really is for interaction amongst players and our primary goal is essentially to onboard the world to experience this reality we are building together.

Because of this one of our most golden of rules is limited automation.  Essentially if it can be done by hand then it should be.  You do not need insane amounts of resources to stockpile to make a killing on the open market in game economy.  In fact, it is our belief that stockpiles as such will actually destroy the economy.  Our roots are towards building a foundation of PLAY to earn.  This play is active and in no way intended through automation while you are off doing other things to bring you in passive revenue.  Passive revenue is great, but essentially the only one which we are focused on is the one you and other members get in various seasons for wandering around and checking out all the cool builds, games, events, and installs going into this fantastic world so many have worked so hard to bring about.

Our rules are minimal, but they are intended to achieve the above aim.  Automation is not active so auto-farming, the use of hoppers as auto collection agents, and anything else that procures and stockpiles resources when you are not around are banned.  Besides a drain on the economy these activities also cause lag.  Things on your plot that also create lag or undue strain on how many people we will get in the metaverse will also be investigated.  In small doses automation is fine, but really it is only allowed for gamification aspects of gamification of builds or events being held on your plot and will be monitored closely to make sure it is within reason and not creating a situation that is an annoyance to or puts other members or their plots at a disadvantage.

Alpha Rules

Rules Applying to Rail Plots

Main rails are not allowed to be modified in any way, do not redirect main traffic.  If you created your own rail line, players have to step off the main rails and onto your rail line to use it.

Be careful with water and lava placement from a high altitude as they could fall on the rails and destroy them if not protected properly beforehand.

Minors on the System

If you want your children to play on the system, an adult HAS to be present in the room.  This is for your children’s safety and also to promote family play time.  Minors are considered to be anyone under the age of 13.

Nemesis World

You go into this world knowing that you are risking your inventory.  If you die in the world, you lose your inventory.  The same also goes for if there is a server crash or hacking attempt that causes the server to go offline.

You go into NEMESIS knowing your inventory is at risk.  There is no rollback procedure.  Only equip the inventory you are prepared to lose.

Support Inquiries

The main thing for you to know is that there are pre-determined systems to attend to different types of support, and we will only attend to your needs if you take a moment to understand them and request support in the appropriate manner.

In order to determine whether it is ok to post a support related question in one of our public channels, please ask yourself this question:

Can a regular active member of the general community help me with my query?

If the answer is no and you need someone with higher powers to get something done, the only accepted course of action is to submit a ticket through our support system at https://upliftworld.zendesk.com/hc/en-us.
